Hi, I’m Sue Orchard, Co-founder/Creator of The Cottage Healing Centre.
After realising my dream in 2003 my intention was to create a safe and sacred space for practitioners to work together as a cooperative for the betterment of themselves and their clients. One of our mottoes is “helping people to help themselves“ as we believe Empowerment is key.
The Cottage is a 15th century building which lends itself perfectly, allowing people to feel relaxed and calm on entering. My role as voluntary co-ordinator is to oversee the centre, incorporating our much loved Cottage Shop “Hidden Gems” aptly named as there are so many items ranging from crystals, essential oils, massage blends, jewellery, figurines, incense and so much more to browse.
The Centre is a not for profit organisation with all practitioners being self-employed some also assisting in the shop in a voluntary capacity. Their help and the help of our other volunteers allows the shop to be fully stocked and all.
